INOUT is an experimental interactive CD-rom which explores the creative space between musicality and play. INOUT contains 9 sound toys, 5 which deal with sound INPUT via the microphone, and 4 which explore sound OUTPUT via the loudspeakers. It was developed by the Fabrica Interactive department between 2001 and 2002.
Chair uses a series of percussive video clips activated when the user rolls over a specific area of the chair. Each explores a different acoustic property of the wooden chair.
Bouncing is a sound input and output toy. Using sound input levels to trigger a generative musical composition it can often get caught up in a feedback loop, playing itself.
